Day 7
On my early morning run I gave my usual “gives”-smiles and waves to other runners and people I passed along the way, but today I was more aware, present of how my smiles to others, my thank you waves to cars that stop for me (and don’t stop for me) at crosswalks, makes me feel connected to everyone, that my daily gives are good for me. The Mahatma Gandhi quote comes to mind “You must be the change you wish to see in the world.” Share with me the little things you do every day that make a difference.

Janet, this is AWESOME! I also like to smile and greet people - especially if they are feeling down or blue that particuluar day. The other day I was in the mall and noticed the many faces of people were either sad, angry or annoyed. So I would smile at them (for no reason) and their expression changed to one of curiousity or bewilderment, and sometimes a return smile. :)
